Th CMA 1820 is a software-only, off-line analyzer, designed to provide full analysis of video encoded H.264 or VC-1 content. It can also analyze audio, encoded in Dolby AC-3 or MPEG Audio. The streams may be in raw byte or encapsulated in MPEG-2 TS, ASF, mp4 or 3gp file format. The CMA decodes pictures from the H.264 and VC-1 Elementary Stream (ES) and displays the information via picture overlays or data boxes. Key information on coding parameters is given including slice and macroblock level data. The syntax view provides values and descriptions of all the syntax elements dow to the syntax header level. The analyzer also includes a Dynamic Buffer Analysis that tests the conformance of the bitstream using the Hypothetical Reference Decoder Model.
