MultiDyne will introduce the latest edition to the RGB-5000 family, the Lower Cost, Single Fiber, RGB/SXGA Fiber Optic Transport Systems. Pricing will start at $1995 per end or $3990 per pair.

The Multidyne RGB-5000-SXGA Single Fiber, Single Wavelength, RGB/SXGA Fiber Optic Transport Systems provides a long haul, transport solution for high-quality, up to 1280 by 1024, high-resolution, RGB or VGA video sources via ONE fiber.

The RGB-5000 Family is a digital transport system with 100% 24 Bit Resolution. Other systems on the market drop to 18 bit resolution at higher resolutions which cause contouring. The artifact of contouring gives the image that “Paint-by-Numbers” look.

The RGB-5000-SXGA supports RGB, SVGA, UXGA, Component and Analog HDTV signals. Stereo audio is available as an option.
