Faspex is a simple, elegant web application allowing even the most non-technical user to take advantage of Aspera’s superior transport technology for person-to-person file exchange and group collaboration involving file exchange. Users can exchange files, directories, and large data sets at global distances with maximum speed, predictable delivery times, and complete security using a very simple web and email interface. In addition to fast file transfers, Faspex provides all users with real-time visibility into the status of on-going file transfers. The simple workflow tools provided by Faspex allows project managers to add new users or revoke the privileges of existing users without requiring support from the IT department. Faspex also provides IT administrators with a very simple interface to centrally manage different project groups who need to share files across the wide area network.

Aspera Faspex is installed as an add-on to Aspera Enterprise Server. End-user client application for initiating upload and download transfers from within the Faspex application is the Aspera Connect with Browser Plug-in. A summary of the features of the Faspex application include the following:
